I don't like kids
I know that may be a weird thing to hear from a mommy, but let me explain
I am not a fan of OTHER children. Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted kids, since I am not particularly fond of other children. However, it is COMPLETELY different with your own kids. I LOVE and ADORE my kids.
But other people's kids - that is another story. I am not the kind of person to go crazy over a new baby. I don't think most of them are cute and I don't oh and ah over them... I don't enjoy playing with or holding other children. I find most other children annoying, sticky, and not a fan of interacting with them.
Ok, that may seem harsh, but this is CONFESSIONS of a mommy blogger.
Now this is not the case with all children. I don't mind my nieces and nephews (well, some of them bug me), and some of my kids friends are alright.
However, it is COMPLETELY different with my own kids. I LOVE spending every moment with them. I love playing with them and I miss them terribly when I leave them for just an hour. They are my heart and soul. I would do ANYTHING for them..
But yeah, still not a fan of other kids......

baby swiffer
They should have an outfit to put on your baby's tummy that will sweep and mop the floor. I'm just sayin' while they are crawling around they might as well get some work done.
Change People
My SIL put on facebook that she was upset that a certain someone doesn't do anything for her for Valentine's day. My family never celebrated it. He told her BEFORE they got married that he did not believe in Valentine's day. She even admitted that in her post. She KNEW it before they go married.
You cannot marry someone thinking you will change them. If you KNOW something BEFORE you marry them, you cannot then get upset about it after you are married because they don't magically change their mind. I find it so annoying when people get upset about something their significant other does that they KNEW about before. If it is not something you can live with, then you should think about that before you make a commitment. You can't go into something expecting to change someone (it can happen, but don't expect it to)
So if you marry someone that says they don't want a cat/dog/kids/tomatoes/purple/sun, etc. I just don't think you can get upset about them not changing their mind about it just because you are now married.
So quit whining or complaining about something you knew about before - it will only make you unhappy.

snot
I rarely leave the house without snot or chewed up cookie/cracker all over my shoulder. That is the life with a 6 month old
I always thought things like that would bother me. And while yes, it does get annoying when you get "snotted" right after you put clean clothes on, and often wonder why you bother, it doesn't bug me too much anymore. Whatever, it is what it is and I am a mommy... and I love it :)

Nutrition Facts
I saw a news report about restaurants putting nutrition facts on all of their food.
I am in favor of, if you want to know, you should easily be able to find out. It is important to know what is going into your body.
However, We limit ourselves to going out to eat to once a week. I feed my family very healthy all week - balanced meals with fruits and veggies, the works. But when we go out, I want to SPLURGE. I want to eat what I want to eat. I want to eat something GOOD and DELICIOUS! I don't want to know how much fat is in it or how many calories I am wasting on this food. I just want to ENJOY it! I want to enjoy my meal and not worry about it.
So I think, if you want to know, it should be easy for you to find out - especially if you eat out ALL the time because then you do NEED to know what you are putting in your body. Otherwise, I WANT to be in the dark, enjoy the fat and calories I am about to eat without the guilt (which I think I deserve once a week), just enjoy how good the food is :)

writing outlet
I am starting this blog as an outlet for me to write whatever I feel like - it will probably vary widely. I put my family blog private, where I write about my family and put pictures for family and friends. This will be a place for me to write about whatever I feel like - things that bug me, current events, politics, health, religion, family, etc. apart from my personal family blog, and somewhat anonymously.
A bit about me. I am a mother of 3. I have one child with Autism. I have a husband - my 4th child :) I am a Liberal, but rather conservative about certain things. I am a college graduate and a stay at home mom.
Hmmm... now what should I write about first????
